I had a lot of trouble getting his vocals to sound less dull.

I wanna try messing with my EQ once I come. At least to help fit the specific songs better.

Usually I record flat and keep it flat for dry vocals.
But when you slam the vocals, that's when things can go wrong.
Sibilance, dullness, etc.
Sometimes nobody gives a shit, but people will not like the harshness unless the beat itself is really loud.
