Quick interview with Mat Demaz (Feb. 20, 2013)

Eedee: So, Mat, thanks for doing this little interview with me, brah. How's it going?

Demaz: Pretty good

Eedee: Awesome, glad to hear it. I know some shit is going down with you moving house. Where are you moving to?

Demaz: Well, I'm moving to Sandgate queensland, I have a house in brisbane but my mother needs 24/7 care, so I gotta stay with her

We're moving because she's sick of Redcliffe I guess, as am I

Eedee: I see. You've been in Redcliffe for a while, and I know that inspired a song or two on your upcoming album Lyrical Death. Care to give us an update on how recording/mixing is going for that LP?

Demaz: Going good, just need to tweak a few things
I'm cuaght up mixing your material, though

Eedee: Haha that's awesome. Phoenix is going to be great thanks to your professional quality mixing. Plus I've stepped up my rap game. But enough about ME, this interview is about YOU. Would you mind giving us an estimate of when Lyrical Death will get released?

Demaz: Hmm, It's hard to say, I really take my time with this stuff now. Maybe Mid 2013, I dunno

Eedee: I see you don't want to give me anything haha. That's cool, let it be a surprise. I'm sure we'll get more tips and updates when you start finishing up! One more thing, mind telling everyone what's going down in May/June with us?

Demaz: Well, you're coming to Australia to live with me for a year so we can make music, and sell units, should be fun; it's nice to finally work with someone who is as hungry as me

Eedee: Yeah for sure. We're in this together, dude. We got this. Thanks for the little interview, I'm sure your forum will appreciate the updates. Now let's play League!

As a conclusion to this, Mat told me the Lyrical Death release date behind the scenes and just know that it's coming this year. I've heard some tracks from it and it's bombastic, energetic, emotional, thought-provoking... it's great. You guys will love it.

As an edit to what Mat said, I'm only moving down to Australia for 4-5 months to make a solo album in Mat's house, a few duo EPs with him and a few music videos for our singles and whatnot. 2013 is going to be amazing for the Eemaz Mob.
